Achievers College, Owo, Ondo State, has revealed that a whole of 27 college students of the institution graduated with first class honours in the 2020/2021 Tutorial Session.
The Vice-Chancellor of the college, Prof. Samuel Aje, disclosed this on Monday even though speaking with journalists on the forthcoming 11th convocation ceremony of the establishment.
Aje also mentioned that a full of 434 students would be awarded very first levels in the convocation ceremony.
He claimed, “This convocation marks the graduation of 434 students in many disciplines in the faculty of social and administration sciences, the school of engineering know-how and the faculty of purely natural and used sciences of this college.
“Out of the selection, a full of 27 pupils designed initially course.”
The don also disclosed that the establishment experienced started to give scholarships to the college students in 10 departments of the institution, saying above 200 pupils are previously experiencing the scholarship.
“In the 2020/tutorial session, we embarked on the journey of featuring scholarships/no cost tuition to all pupils of our really revered programmes, specifically, Accounting, Business enterprise Administration, Economics, Political Science, Community Administration, Sociology, Plant Science, Biotech Industrial Chemistry, and Geology.

This arrangement presents an opportunity to students who, below typical situation, would not have had access to a preference college of this nature, the Achievers University manager stated.
