In Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, players can use a lot of different guns, but only a few can be the best SMGs.
In Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, close-quarters fighters don’t always have to use the slow-firing Shotgun, especially if the SMG can do enough damage with a fast rate of fire. Like SMGs in other first-person shooter games, the SMGs in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint work well from close to mid-range, giving players the flexibility they need when their standard assault rifles can’t keep up.
But a player’s choice of SMG could make it harder for them to learn how to fight if they need help. Thanks to the right SMG tactics and knowledge, players can bring a much deadlier arsenal into a battle. This is especially true when you think about how versatile SMGs are, which is why they are so popular. SMGs usually have a very fast rate of fire, a moderate amount of recoil, and the right amount of damage. This lets them wipe out the competition at close to mid-ranges, where almost no other weapon can fight.
Uzi 9mm

- Damage: 20
- Rate of Fire: 750
- Magazine: 30
- Ammo Type: 9mm Ammo
- Reload Time: 2.40
The Uzi 9mm is one of the most well-known SMGs in both real life and video games. In Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, it is a good close-range weapon for beginners. Even though the Uzi 9mm has more energy than the Vector Quantum, players use it close up because it isn’t very accurate and has a short range.
But players who like close-quarters firefights should enjoy the Uzi 9mm’s great recoil and movement. Compared to other SMGs that are good at melee but still need strong controls, the Uzi 9mm makes tearing enemies apart in tight areas as easy as butter. But its short range and slow rate of fire could be a problem for more strategic players.
P90

- Damage: 25
- Rate of Fire: 90
- Magazine: 50
- Ammo Type: 5.56 Ammo
- Reload Time: 2.70
The FN P90 is a small SMG that was made to go with the FN Five-Seven. It was originally ordered by NATO to fight Russian paratroopers during the Cold War. The P90 was a popular self-defense weapon, but it was also a mainstay in special forces and counter-terrorist teams because of how well it worked. In Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, a player could get a decent 25 Damage with average stats.
Even though the P90 isn’t the best in every way, its above-average mobility and controlled recoil make it a good gun for close-range attacks. Even though the P90 might have more firepower than other SMGs, its lower stats make it less than ideal for long fights, especially when there are better guns on the battlefield just ready to be used.
Echelon SMG

- Damage: 22
- Rate of Fire: 950
- Magazine: 50
- Ammo Type: 9mm Ammo
- Reload Time: 2.30
Sam Fisher arrives in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint through Operation Checkmate, and he brings with him weapons like the Echelon SMG that were made by the secret group Fourth Echelon. The Echelon SMG is thought to be based on the SC-400S select-fire SMG from Splinter Cell. It has incredible handling and speed, making it perfect for the stealthy Echelon Class.
The gun’s lack of range is more than made up for by its accuracy and good recoil, which makes it easy for players to quickly kill enemy squads and disappear into the shadows. Others may compare it to the MP7 in terms of how well it works overall. Its 22 Damage isn’t too far from the MP7’s 23 Damage, but the difference could be important in long assaults. The famous Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell IP is used in the weapon, which makes it interesting for fans of Sam Fisher, who is back in the fight.
Scorpion EVO3

- Damage: 23
- Rate of Fire: 1150
- Magazine: 30
- Ammo Type: 9mm Ammo
- Reload Time: 2.40
Based on the CZUB’s family of select-fire SMGs, the Scorpion EVO3 gives players the much-needed ability to control their ammo, which will help them level up quickly in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. Even though the Scorpion EVO3 has an average fire rate, it has slightly above-average accuracy, handling, and mobility. This gives players a lot of room to play smoothly and quickly in any battle situation.
But the Scorpion EVO3 is great because it can be used in a lot of different ways. For example, if you equip it with sights that can zoom up to 8x, you can still one-tap enemies with low damage to make up for their short range. Even though the Scorpion EVO3 doesn’t have anything too special to give, players shouldn’t pass up on how easy it is to use.
MPX Tactical

- Damage: 23
- Rate of Fire: 850
- Magazine: 50
- Ammo Type: 9mm Ammo
- Reload Time: 2.30
The SIG Sauer MPX is another SMG that most current shooter games use. It is a gas-powered SMG with safety and reliability features made for the user. But players may notice that its version in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is a multi-faceted beast that can be used as the main weapon in most stealth missions. This lets players feel like real ghosts when sneaking around and makes enemies afraid because they don’t know what kind of gun the player is holding.
Compared to the basic MPX, a fully-equipped MPX Tactical has better accuracy, better handling, and better movement. It also has a decent amount of recoil. Even though the MPX Tactical has a pretty average range, its smooth recoil makes it possible to make clean mid-range shots in single-fire mode and switch targets precisely in full-auto.
MP5

- Damage: 29
- Rate of Fire: 800
- Magazine: 30
- Ammo Type: 9mm Ammo
- Reload Time: 2.55
The Heckler & Koch MP5 is one of the most famous weapons in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. It’s probably the most well-known SMG in the gaming community because it’s been used so many times over the years. It’s also one of the best weapons because it can be used from close to mid-range. With its above-average range and agility, players can kill enemies from farther away than with other SMGs. Its low accuracy is made up for by its light recoil.
Sprays are still the best way to use the MP5, since its range gives it a lot of room to kill enemies before they even notice the player. It does good damage, which can encourage players to practice getting headshots from close range. However, the gun still packs a punch even when it hits in the middle.
Vector Quantum

- Damage: 18
- Rate of Fire: 1200
- Magazine: 30
- Ammo Type: .45 Ammo
- Reload Time: 2.60
When the players on Golem Island beat the Skell Quantum Computer, they can get the Vector Quantum. The futuristic look of the weapon may be based on the KRISS USA’s Vector, but there is no clear reference to what it is based on in real life. The Vector Quantum has the fastest rate of fire of all the guns in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. This, along with its high speed and handling, can make it a dangerous weapon in close quarters.
The Vector Quantum’s high rate of fire can help players hit their targets in the head, especially when paired with its low recoil. But the weapon’s terrible range and low DPS make it more useful in close combat.
MP7

- Damage: 23
- Rate of Fire: 950
- Magazine: 30
- Ammo Type: 9mm Ammo
- Reload Time: 2.30
The Heckler & Koch MP7 and the FN P90 are both small guns, but the MP7 is smaller than the P90. Both guns meet NATO standards for anti-Kevlar SMGs. In Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, this difference in design can be seen in how the MP7 handles and moves. It has a shorter range than most guns, but its handling and movement are excellent, and its recoil is very strong.
Based on these numbers, the MP7 is best for close-quarters Snake Game fights. Its 23 damage is great for engaging opponents close up and moving quickly enough to finish them off before they have a chance to hit back. Even though the MP7 can be used for shots at medium range, it is best used in close areas.
SN-9mm

- Damage: 28
- Rate of Fire: 700
- Magazine: 30
- Ammo Type: 9mm Ammo
- Reload Time: 2.70
The SN-9mm, also called the Vityaz-SN, could be called a “sniper” instead of a “submachine gun” because it has such a long range in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. When properly scoped, an SN-9mm should be able to kill opponents from more than 200 meters away. This makes it a great weapon for sneaking up on people.
The rest of its stats aren’t bad either. It has average accuracy, and its handling and speed aren’t bad either. Because of these numbers, the SN-9mm is the best SMG for the Panther’s Cloak and Run (Technique), which lets you attack enemies from behind, kill them, and then vanish into thin air before they can even fight back.
Honey Badger

- Damage: 31
- Rate of Fire: 800
- Magazine: 30
- Ammo Type: 7.62 Ammo
- Reload Time: 3
The AAC Honey Badger PDW, named after the cute honey badger, is not an easy weapon to use in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. Even though its main purpose is self-defense, its design, which is based on the AR-15, gives it 31 Damage in the game, which is quite a lot. Its handling, precision, and range are all better than average, which makes it a good all-around weapon for close to mid-range attacks.
Even though its mobility and recoil aren’t very good in terms of numbers, the Honey Badger works well in any kind of battle. With 31 Damage and a high rate of fire, the Honey Badger has some of the highest DPS in the game. This makes it a must-have for players who want a safe weapon in their loadout.
